Complete list of elements contained in shilajit
What is in Shilajit?
Is one of the most frequently asked questions we get, and rightly so. There’s a lot going on in shilajit.
Shilajit is mainly composed of humic substances, including fulvic acid, that account for around 60% to 80% of the total nutraceutical compound. The humic substances are the results of degradation of organic matter, mainly ancient plants; thanks to the actions of many microorganisms.
Because of the nutrients found in ancient organic matter, shilajit offers one of the most broad selections of beneficial trace elements and minerals. Shilajit is also one of the purest sources of naturally occurring fulvic acid.
Fulvic acid and a few select elements like magnesium and zinc are often referenced when speaking to the benefits of shilajit. These are just the beginning, as shilajit contains up to 30 other naturally occurring elements.
